A private family-owned Canadian business, we are a successful supply chain partner providing “Intelligent Delivery” of products and solutions to the Industrial, Oil & Gas, Environmental, Ingredients, Coatings & Construction, and Plastics industries.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Ensuring efficient regulatory support is provided through timely and accurate responses to customers, government agencies, suppliers and other CCC department inquiries
  • Coordination of technical documentation and the completion of customer questionnaires by suppliers and CCC staff
  • Generate letters for export once product has been approved by Regulatory Specialist
  • Preparing and filing various government notices, surveys and reports
  • Updating and posting regulatory documents to intranet
  • Reviewing Canada Gazette and other resource materials to determine if/how existing and upcoming regulation changes apply to CCC, and communicating recommended actions to management
  • Maintaining and developing administrative and product databases, file systems and archives
  • Tracking department activities and producing reports for management review
  • Maintaining applicable licences
  • Completing government application forms under the direction of a Specialist and/or Manager
  • Administering company system restrictions as they relate to regulatory requirements, including daily system alerts for compliance on selected substances
  • Ensure all WHMIS 2015 products have a GHS Label in French and English, in addition to copy of the GHS label
  • Completing daily damage report
  • Updating and maintaining Regulatory SOPs annually or as required
  • Providing backup to Regulatory Specialists on select day-to- day activities
  • Other administrative and project-oriented duties

Background Required:

  • College diploma or university degree with Chemistry/Science background; or Grade 12 High School Diploma and equivalent work experience
  • 2-3 years of experience working in an office/technical environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, with the ability to multi-task at a very high level
  • Strong team player with customer service orientation
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and other PC applications
