Objective of the Role:

Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and external business partners to facilitate business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Relations

  • Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with suppliers and external business partners
  • Collaborates with suppliers to ensure documentation and technical information is on hand for all product offerings

Customer Relations

  • Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with customers

Costing and Pricing

  • Work with Commercial Directors to establish pricing for new business opportunities
  • Provides quotations to Sales Coordinators/Account Managers
  • Creates, maintains and updates costing templates and budgetary price lists

Product and Inventory Management

  • Ensures stock levels are adequate based on regular/seasonal requirements as well as contractual agreements
  • Collaborates with the logistics team and regulatory on procurement of products, and the customer service team on customer-related solutions

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • University or college degree / diploma
  • Previous industry experience and a minimum of three years’ experience in a customer service or sales support function
  • Software knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and ability to adapt communication style to the audience
  • Good judgment and professionalism when dealing with both internal and external customers
  • Dynamic personality with an ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
  • Detail oriented with sound analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and balance workload to meet new business requirements
  • Ability to negotiate win-win situations
